SYNPOSIS
After fleeing to Germany, trans man Akim lives in refugee accommodation, concealing his identity out of fear of his roommates. His life is dominated by waiting — for documents, for recognition, for a place in society.
Excluded from language courses due to his legal status, Akim is pushed to the margins and assigned to work in the laundry room. Refusing to remain silent, he starts teaching himself German, determined to claim his voice and be heard.
